Hazrat Khwaja Moeen-ud-Din Chishti
Hazrat Khawaja Moeen-ud-Din Chishti Rahmatullah Alyhe was born on Saturday 14 Rajab al-Marajab 530 AH (April 18, 1136), near Sinjar Kharasan city. Ancestral pedigree joined that of Syedna Hazrat Imam Hussain Salam Alyhe with the ancestor thirteenth. His father was Hazrat Khawaja Khawaja Kamaluddin Ghiasuddin bin Hazrat Khawaja Ahmad bin Hussein bin Khawaja Khawaja Najmuddin bin Abdul Aziz bin Khawaja Khawaja Idrees bin Ibrahim bin Imam Musa Kazim bin Imam Jafer bin Imam Muhammad Baqir bin Imam Ali Zain-ul-Abidin Ben Hazrat Imam Alyhe Salam Hussain bin Hazrat Ali Razi Allah Ta'ala Unho bin Abi Talib.At time of the death of his father, Khawaja Sahib was barely fifteen. He inherited his father's orchard and a windmill, which served as a source of income for Khawaja Sahib. He used to meditate for hours on the ugly scenes of horrible massacre of Khorasan, which he had witnessed with great pain for several years since his younger days. With these tragic impressions of his interest in life and worldly pleasures decreasing rapidly. In this world he was very restless and longed to be away from this crazy world if he could manage to see a way out.
